Kids Entertainment under the direction of Daphne Paelinck (dance & choreography, make-up, coloring-corner, jump castle, ...) Daphne (born the 14th of July 1988) studied Acting & Drama at the Kunsthumaniora in Antwerpen and Musical at the Conservatorium in Brussels. She is known from the series Spring (studio 100) where she plays the role of Nele, the role of Loeka from VTM’s series Familie and the role of Charline in Wittekerke. She also has expereince in musicals such as ‘les Miserables’, ‘kuifje’, ‘Assepoester’, 'Peter pan', ... A few years ago, she sang along in the “life-line song” with the group JeenZ and she appeared a number of times on the podium from TOTZ. Together with Reuben De Boel and Sandra Paelinck, Daphne currently leads musical productions under the name ‘Musical-BOOST!`. During a 5 day camp, children with an interest in musicals & drama become immersed in the world of theatre, dance, and song. ‘Musical-BOOST!’ already has a few editions behind it and has developed into a big success ! Therefore, come Saturday the 2nd of October by 3pm and participate in the danse initiation with Daphne. Maybe you’ll discover your hidden talent in musical theatre ! Along with choregraphy, there is also the possibility to magically become a lion, clown, butterfly, princess, etc at the face-painting stand. Do you prefer being creative yourself ? Then you can get started in our specially-equipped drawing and coloring corner with well-known TV and comic strip figures. But maybe you would rather be more energetic outside. You can do that because there will be a jump castle available all day. Now we hope and will keep our fingers crossed that the weather-gods will favor us on October 2nd. Appearance of Maureen Alberg The musical story of Maureen Alberg, alias Mo’reen (Mo) (born March 22 1970, Paramaribo, Suriname) began at a young age as a dancer in the Amsterdam Ballet Academy. She quickly became familiar with that platform and learned to combine dancing with singing. Later she gained a lot of experience through small projects by and with diverse performers including Danny De Munck, André van Duin, The Debarge Family, Boney M, Ryan Paris, Jean Bosco Safari a.o. In 1993 Maureen landed with The Radios of Bart Peters. Together they performed in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and even Orlando and Senegal. After a very interesting and active year with The Radios, together with her “better-half” she formed the dance formation Power Process (later C-12). After 5 years of intensive touring in the discotheque circuit in all corners of Belgium, she took it somewhat easier with work in the studio and giving lessons in aerobics and dance. Currently Maureen performs in the Netherlands and Belgium with the show orchestra Heverband. Heverband in Concert is a complete spectacle whereby music gets combined with dance, humor, and emotion and whereby the correct atmosphere is created for a perfect evening out. As a group of 30 youthful, enthusiastic musicians, de Heverband has already entertained for 1,000 organizers. This orchestra has already packed famous music venues such as Vorst Nationaal, Antwerp’s Sportpaleis, the Koningin Elisabeth room en the casino’s from Knokke and Oostende. As a singer, Maureen can in this way constantly work together with a broad range of national and international stars like Johnny Logan, Lee Towers, Sandra Kim, Kate Ryan, The Gibson Brothers, Rob de Nijs, Boney M., Vader Abraham, Danny Wuyts, Paul Michiels, Eric Baranyanka, Xander de Buisonjé, Umberto Tozzi, Laura Lynn and many many more ...

DIRECTIONS - On the ring around Antwerp, take the highway E313 towards Hasselt - Exit Wommelgem (nr 18) : remain on the right and follow direction Mortsel - At the second light, turn left towards Ranst (= Herentalsebaan) - Follow this road a number of kilometere (till you pass the center of Ranst) - On the leftside, you will see the Cultural Centrum "Den Boomgaard" (Antwerpsesteenweg 57, 2520 Broechem-Ranst) For those coming from Limburg / Kempen : - On the E 313, take the exit for Zandhoven - Left over the bridge until you get to the light - Turn right and follow the road - Past the village center you will find the Cultural Centrum "Den Boomgaard"on the rightside. |
